Children learn most through mistakes.

We care for the children's physical and mental well being. There is no harm in early failures whether in projects, lessons, speech or actions; in fact children learn most through failures than all passes all the time. We encourage learning through mistakes and take take risk in their answers either orally or in written form. If a child has given out wrong answers or commits actions or speech not to the liking of adults or his peers, most often he may not know the reason for their dislikes. Take for example, if a question is asked, "How do we breathe"? A child may think that 'nose' will be a too easy answer and shouts out, "mouth". While the teacher and other students may think that the child is trying to be funny, insinuate and laugh at him. Such action certainly kills creativity, leaving the poor child lonely and separated. Many parents and teachers 'judge' their children by their academic achievements and if a child performs well, he will be their 'blue eyed' boy and if not, maybe some scolding will 'change' him. Most often such caning or scolding are done out of frustrations, partly due to the adults own problems.

A New Beginning.

First day to school 2012
It may be very easy to classify children into different categories as slow, naughty, aggressive, stubborn, fast, clever, intelligent and so on..., and separate them and brand them for easy identification. Oh dear, what will happen to the child being branded negatively for the rest of his school days and the rest of his life.Very often we have parents telling us  how naughty or how slow their children are, but deep down inside they see their children as wonder kids with plenty of promises. They showered new clothes, shoes, bags, books, toys and let their children enjoyed  good meals at the children's favourite restaurant, before starting them to school, to show their love and support in their studies. They rushed to daycare centres to look for the best and even worried that there are no more vacancies!
In our centre, it is almost impossible for teachers not to raise our voices or even 'classify' the children temporary in our minds because of their habitual actions. Pushing, shoving, shouting, blaming, snatching and fighting among the children are common. New students tend to bring their negative habits from their old environment into the centre and even pass on to others. Our teachers are always on high alerts to prevent any bodily harm and at the same time ready to shower the children with love, pats  and generous hugs. At the same time we project positive messages and mountains of encouragements onto the children. We respect each child as individual genius. Not good in Science and Mathematics does mean he will not succeed in Arts, Music or Languages. We accept each Child wholeheartedly  together with all his characteristics.

To avoid separating and eliminating the students, we have to reduce the number of tests and exams and stop branding the children. This may not be to the liking of many parents because there will be no yardstick to judge the children. In actual fact there is no need to judge the children at this tender age. It will be totally mistaken to associate good test results to more intelligent children. What is of utmost important is to care for their mental health by allowing the children to learn at their own pace without affecting their psychological security.
A lot of joy and fun together
We encourage love and unity to enable our children to grow healthily and happily under the best environment.
